I teach Creative Media at

George McDougall High School

This semester I am teaching Media 10/20, Media 9, Robotics 9 and Experimental Psychology 30 at George McDougall High School.

In all of my classes, learning is an active and varied process, in which student voice is valued, and success arises through collaboration. In our work together, we are driven by curiosity and creativity. We engage in thoughtful analysis and appreciative inquiry, while continually creating a calm and respectful learning community. Students build the knowledge and skills identified by the course curriculum, while also being challenged to bring their own meaning to the content.

Through a focus on the 21st Century Competencies, students gain awareness of the broader skills and attitudes they are practicing to support their future growth and success as lifelong learners.

My particular focus going forward is to build the Creative Media presence at George McDougall High School. The CTS Creative Media home page provides more detail in this regard. For more specific information about any of my classes, please view the course outline documents accessed from the icon below. I am always open to questions, ideas and opportunities to collaborate; please feel free to contact me any time.
